Thijs van Wijk is the manager and technical lead of the Elaad Testlab, which is part of the ElaadNL research and innovation center, and responsible for the test portfolio. Also, van Wijk is active as an expert in several international working groups on standardization and certification, like on the UN ECE vehicle type approval. As background knowledge, van Wijk has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (HAN, 2004) and a master’s degree in innovation sciences (TU/e, 2006).
