
Pudureddiyur Venkataraman Manivannan

Dr Manivannan holds a PhD in control systems for SI engines from IIT Madras, India, a master’s in applied electronics from the College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai, India, and a bachelor’s degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering from IETE, New Delhi. He is faculty in the department of mechanical engineering at IIT Madras, India. He has been a visiting faculty at TU Kaiserslautern, Germany; University of Nebraska, Lincoln, USA; and University of South Australia, Adelaide, Australia. He is a distinguished recipient of DAAD and Erasmus Mundus Teaching fellowships. His teaching and research interests encompass automotive control systems, autonomous vehicles, mechatronics, robotics and embedded systems.
