Fabio studied Mechatronics and Sensor-technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Saarbrücken, Germany, and received his Master’s degree in 2010.
Then, he joined the Laboratory of Fluid Physics, Pattern Formation and Biocomplexity at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization in Göttingen, Germany, where he earned his doctorate in 2015. During his time in Göttingen, Fabio developed a system for the real-time image processing of data from High Speed Cameras and experimentally investigated the response of turbulent flows to varying forcing.
Since 2015, he is working as Field Application Engineer for Vision Research.
