Carlos is a telecommunications engineer with extensive experience in connected systems, cybersecurity and automotive technologies. He began his career in large-scale telecommunications deployments before transitioning into research, where he specialized in embedded systems, wireless networks, 5G and software-defined architectures, with a strong focus on cybersecurity. Since 2019, he has been working at CTAG, specializing in automotive cybersecurity with a focus on the design, validation and testing of security solutions for connected, autonomous and software-defined vehicle systems. Certified as an automotive cybersecurity engineer (ISO/SAE 21434), he currently serves as automotive cybersecurity lead at CTAG, where he drives secure architecture design and advanced cybersecurity validation strategies for next-generation vehicles.
