High-precision dynamic temperature control
Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau SE will present its sustainable temperature control technology for automotive testing, with a focus on the Unimotive GL (Green Line) series. Designed specifically for automotive applications, these systems are designed to enable precise and repeatable temperature and flow control for demanding test scenarios such as material testing, temperature simulations, and load and stress testing of components.
The Unimotive GL series operates with the natural refrigerant CO₂ (R744), offering a 100% environmentally friendly alternative to conventional systems using synthetic refrigerants. With an operating temperature range of -45°C to +150°C (XT variant), the systems are optimized for direct operation with water-glycol and support a wide range of automotive testing requirements.
CO₂ as a refrigerant provides significant environmental advantages, including zero ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) and a minimal global warming potential (GWP=1). Combined with high-quality, recyclable materials and long product lifetimes, this technology contributes to reducing the overall carbon footprint.
