Complete e-drive ECU validation
Typhoon HIL's e-Drive HIL Testbed is a fully integrated, turnkey validation solution for e-drive ECUs, designed in accordance with ISO 26262. At its core is the HIL606 simulator, capable of time steps as low as 200ns and supporting up to quad-motor systems. High-fidelity machine and inverter models are parameterized using FEM software and lab data, ensuring accuracy that reflects real-world conditions. The testbed includes HIL Connect signal conditioning for extended voltage ranges and all required signal types: analog, digital, resistive, relay and automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, SPI, FlexRay). Software-controlled fault insertion via the Breakout Box F enables precise simulation of open circuits, short circuits and terminal faults across 150 signals. Housed in a rack, the complete bench includes a DC power supply, a main power control unit with an emergency disconnect, shielded terminal block wiring and a rack-mounted industrial PC, all controlled through a vertically integrated software suite that supports both manual and automated testing.
