Through community collaboration and continuous exploration of customer needs, openDAQ has significantly expanded its technology ecosystem since the last Automotive Testing Expo in Stuttgart. New additions include LabVIEW, RTMaps, MQTT and a Raspberry Pi module, making openDAQ easier to integrate, test and deploy across a wide range of environments.

Users can now directly control and stream data from openDAQ devices within LabVIEW and RTMaps, seamlessly integrating it into established engineering testing workflows. With MQTT support, devices can easily act as brokers, while openDAQ-compatible PC applications can function as clients, enabling flexible and scalable system architectures. The Raspberry Pi module lowers the barrier to entry: with minimal setup, it can be transformed into a fully functional openDAQ device.

Together, these advances support openDAQ’s mission of enabling truly interoperable products in the test and measurement industry. Through close cooperation with partners, along with consulting and testing services, openDAQ has already helped multiple companies bring openDAQ-compliant products to market.

This technological progress is matched by strong community growth. Since the previous expo, openDAQ membership has doubled, reflecting growing industry confidence in an open, vendor-independent data acquisition ecosystem.
