With over 22 years of experience in vehicle product development, crashworthiness, virtual simulation and validation, Sunil Waghmare is safety project performance lead at Stellantis. He played a pivotal role in the development of the fifth-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L. Previously he served as senior manager at Idiada Automotive Technology India, where he led multiple vehicle development programs and advanced simulation methodologies. Waghmare holds a postgraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
