Prasad is a vehicle safety engineer with experience in developing advanced safety systems that comply with global crash regulations such as FMVSS and ECE. He specializes in optimizing crashworthiness across a diversity of vehicle platforms including EVs, by leveraging multi-physics FEA and AI tools. At Mahindra, he leads virtual validation for crash protection (structural integrity, airbags and seat belts) and crash avoidance (ADAS and autonomous drive systems). Previously at Stellantis, he contributed to the development of the Jeep and Ram models. Prasad plays an active role in shaping global vehicle safety standards as a member of the US Technical Advisory Group.
