JSP Innovation Centre: From prototyping to series production readiness
25 Jun 2026
Thursday, June 25, Testing Stage 1 - morning session
This session uses case studies to illustrate how the JSP Innovation Centre supports validation of expanded polypropylene (EPP ARPRO) parts. Attendees will see how CNC-milled prototypes and early molding campaigns are correlated with series production parts to optimize crash performance and reduce unexpected issues. The presentation also highlights the use of FEA to predict part performance and support virtual validation, while DDE is used to analyze and monitor the production process, helping optimize series production. By combining simulation and hands-on prototyping, the Innovation Centre reduces iteration loops, anticipates industrialization challenges and accelerates development from early design.
- Case studies on correlating CNC prototypes with series ARPRO parts
- Early prototype molding campaigns enabling pre-PAPP validation
- DDE and FEA simulations to predict part behavior and optimize design
- Reducing iteration loops through virtual and physical performance correlation
- Strategies to anticipate industrialization challenges and accelerate series readiness
