Increased efficiency in the development process through virtual optimization
25 Jun 2026
Thursday, June 25, Testing Stage 1 - morning session
Theseus-FE is a finite element-based solver for determining thermal comfort, which makes it possible to determine the conditions in rooms or environments based on heat flow (convection), heat conduction (conduction) and heat radiation, taking into account relative humidity and mass flows, and to evaluate comfort using an officially valid comfort index. In order to assess the effects of the prevailing climate in a room or environment on humans, a virtual human model based on the findings of Mr Fiala has been implemented in Theseus-FE, which allows these external influences on the human body to be evaluated and visualized.
- How can I evaluate the comfort status?
- How can I reduce the development loops and time?
- How can I make the evaluation of results objective in the validation process?
