UDS Whisperer is a compact, wireless and fully programmable diagnostics device designed to bridge the gap between vehicle and engineer - locally or remotely. It combines automated UDS communication, flashing, logging and remote access in a single onboard unit, eliminating bulky and stationary diagnostic setups. Core capabilities include UDS/OBD, ISO-TP, Raw CAN and TCP/IP communication, supported by onboard storage via microSD and mixed standalone/cloud operation.

Connectivity services cover WiFi (Station, Access Point, Mesh), BLE, Zigbee and USB, enabling direct engineering access as well as remote infrastructure integration. The device can create its own wireless access point, bridge CAN or UDS traffic via TCP, or integrate into backend systems. OTA firmware updates and seamless linkage to customer or efs infrastructure support distributed deployments and fleet-scale operation.

Automation is enabled through simple JSON-based scripts, ideal for repetitive and time-critical tasks such as clearing fault memory, setting coding words or executing calibration routines. Integrated “fire-and-forget” flashing supports datasets, applications and bootloaders in .odx, .bin and .hex formats. Packages can be deployed over-the-air, executed autonomously on the vehicle and followed by automated VIN and software version reporting.

Our hardware operates from 5–40 V, is automotive-grade (excluding µC) and rated for –40 °C to 105 °C. It integrates full ESD and fault protection, flash encryption, secure boot and hardware-based cryptography (AES, SHA, RSA, HMAC). With USB-C, CAN, Ethernet and wireless interfaces in the same compact form factor, UDS Whisperer provides a scalable foundation for development labs, commissioning scenarios and worldwide remote diagnostics.
