The Techteal 100/1000Base-T1 TSN TAP is a professional Automotive Ethernet test instrument that combines non-intrusive traffic capture (TAP), Layer 3 multi-device gateway, and gPTP time-synchronization accuracy measurement in a single, compact unit.

The L3 Ethernet Gateway enables a single host to communicate with up to 12 ECUs, even when they
share the same IP address, without requiring driver installation on the Host PC. It ensures seamless
protocol support, including bidirectional pass-through for DoIP and forwarding for SOME/IP, TCP/UDP,
and ICMP.
The gPTP TIME SYNCHRONIZATION feature supports IEEE 802.1AS Master and Slave modes, offering
microsecond-level accuracy (±5 μs typical) across all three output ports. It utilizes a P2P two-step
synchronization mechanism and includes Reverse Sync measurement, eliminating the need for an
oscilloscope.
