EU3000 represents the latest generation of digital measurement and control systems.

Its consistently modular design enables the easy configuration of single-channel component test benches up to highly complex, interconnected test benches. For example, 32-channel complete vehicle test benches.

The multi-station capability allows for the independent control of multiple test benches from a single system.

A wide range of different universal or specialized input and output modules, such as measuring amplifier modules, analog and digital input and output modules, servo valve drivers, and digital interfaces, make this system the first choice for new test benches as well as for modernizing existing test benches from any manufacturer.

A 24-bit AD resolution and 10kHz clocking rate underscore the measurement and control accuracy
of the EU3000 control system. The integration of CAN bus and FlexRay signals enables
realistic testing of modern components, from vehicles to biomechanics.

The outstanding test reliability also results from the use of proven
industry standards and concepts.

Combined with our modular, powerful, and easy-to-use
TestControl software, test vehicles and test systems can be set up without difficulty.

The core element of the EU3000 RTC is the Real Time Control Unit (RTC). This unit processes input and output signals, calculates the PID loop, and executes test sequences.

The RTC unit forms the interface to the I/O frames with the I/O modules and the user PC. All real-time tasks are performed directly in the RTC unit. The user PC is used exclusively for setting the necessary parameters and visualizing the signals.

The I/O base frames have an integrated 1GB Ethernet interface. This interface connects to the RTC unit. The I/O modules used provide the direct interface to the test bench.

Communication between the individual interfaces is monitored by a watchdog function. In the event of communication failures, the system operates in a safe state.

Safety-relevant functions, such as emergency stop functions, are enabled by Pilz PNOZ relays. The power supply to the drive systems can thus be interrupted directly and without
interaction with the RTC unit.
