Several ATS Group branches have obtained accreditation as Inspection Bodies in accordance with ISO 17020:2012, following a resolution of the Sectoral Accreditation Committee of ACCREDIA, the Italian Accreditation Body.

As accredited Inspection Bodies, they carry out conformity assessment activities exclusively, operating as independent third-party organizations.

• Inspections on Vehicles and/or their trailers in accordance with EU Regulations;
• Inspections of Vehicles components and systems under the ECE Regulations;
• Inspections and Pre Compliance Tests on Vehicles and their Components for carrying out inspections aimed at obtaining the Type Approval;
• The inspection body must ensure that all inspections are carried out with impartiality, independence and competence.
