The HLRS Visualization Department supports engineers and scientists in the visual analysis of data produced by simulations on high-performance computers. The department combines expertise in scientific visualization, virtual reality, augmented reality, CAVE environments, simulation post-processing, scalable visualization pipelines and software tools such as COVISE and VISTLE.
For automotive applications, HLRS Visualization is relevant for analysing numerical simulation data from aerodynamics, acoustics, structural mechanics, thermal behaviour, occupant-related simulations, mobility data and digital engineering workflows.
