This full-vehicle environmental wind tunnel was put into operation in 2001, being the first full-vehicle high-low temperature environmental wind tunnel in China. It was designed and constructed by SATAKE, and is equipped with external straightening steel flow channels, wind tunnel fans, chassis dynamometers, full-spectrum solar simulation systems, large-span environmental air conditioning systems and other facilities.
It is still in normal operation at present.
