AV068: A New Solution for Adhesive Bond Testing

At AV R&D, we are expanding our testing capabilities with the AV068 Adhesive Bond Testing Station, designed for comprehensive static and fatigue testing of bonded specimens, including testing under extreme temperature conditions. The system has been developed to meet the demanding requirements of the automotive and transportation industries and complies with key standards for bonded structures, including DIN 2304, EN ISO 21368, DIN 6701, and EN 17460.

By combining a tensile testing machine with a climate chamber, the AV068 enables the simulation of real operating conditions and provides reliable data for product development, validation, and certification. The system supports testing across a temperature range from -60 °C to +120 °C, making it suitable for evaluating adhesive bond performance in demanding environments.

AV R&D operates an accredited testing laboratory and is currently preparing to extend its accreditation scope to include adhesive bond testing using the AV068 testing station. This will enable customers to benefit from accredited testing services while maintaining the highest standards of quality, reliability, and technical expertise.
