Universal, simple testing of electric motors

The UPIXX00 universal test bench inverter from Haussmann Industrieelektronik is designed to test and validate newly developed electric motors simply and easily. In its various versions based on SiC semiconductors with specially developed driver control, outputs of up to 1,250V, 1,000Arms and 50kHz as well as three-phase, five-phase and six-phase operation for induction machines, permanently excited synchronous machines, externally excited synchronous machines and reluctance machines are possible.
An EESM module is also available as an extension to operate externally excited machines. The UPI can be extended by various external standalone modules and there is the option of a transient active short circuit module TASC to activate an active short circuit on a specific angle, a load dump box LDB to simulate DC load dumping, and a line impedance stabilization network (LISN) to emulate on-board electrical system impedance. All products comply with ISO 21498 and MBN 11123 standards.
